4 Content Marketing Promotion Tips
by Rahimah Sultan

Content marketing is sharing valuable content to attract prospects and turn them into customers and repeat buyers. Most content is created and published with a particular audience in mind. It includes blog posts, articles, website copy, letters to customers, social media posts, podcasts, recorded interviews, infographics, photos, and video. Here are 4 Content Marketing Promotion Tips.
1. Who is Your Audience?
When writing content you must decide who it is for—the audience you want to connect with. If you blog about jewelry you want to connect with people interested in jewelry, but you must narrow the niche to serve a particular audience. You might narrow the field to designing and making your own jewelry.
2. Can You Solve a Particular Problem?
How does what you are offering solve a particular problem your customers might have? If you can solve their problems you become the go-to expert. Tell a story about your experience in the business. Incorporate video to show how to make certain items or how to use different tools.
3. How Do You Keep Your Readers Engaged?
What stories can you tell about your experiences? Use them to make your articles interesting, and ask your audience to relate theirs. You can ask them to present any questions they might have or ask them to subscribe to your newsletter through which you deliver information on a regular basis.
4. Provide a Call to Action
Always provide a strong call to action that has a clear message such as, “For more information” or “To get your packet contact me here…”
After all, the point is to get business to your site so give readers clear instructions. You can have them fill out a form so you can follow up with them.
Use engaging and informative content and post on a regular basis. These 4 Content Marketing Promotion Tips can help to improve your effort.

Three Ingredients of Business Success
by Rahimah Sultan
According to Clate Mask, there are three ingredients of business success: Passion, Freedom and Impact. He goes on to say, “Impact should be at the core of your business. You might think that when your business reaches a certain stage of growth or you have a bigger budget you’ll then decide to make an impact. Don’t wait! Start from the beginning. Very early in our business we made giving and helping others a key part of our purpose. If having an impact is a key part of your business from day one, you will make an impact on someone’s life every day.”
Passion is your drive. Freedom is the ability to spend your time and money as you see fit, and Impact should be the core of your business.
Loving what you do and being paid for it allows room for mistakes and growth. You do not have to be an expert to start a business, but you must be able to keep your message going.
You need to start somewhere. Start with something you are passionate about that people will pay you for. Because you are not an expert yet, chances are that you will not be paid a lot of money for it. Look at the long-term goal for your vision, and do not be discouraged by the lack of pay or progress you will initially experience.
As you make decisions about a business, do keep in mind these Three Ingredients of Business Success.

Blogging: Your Message
by Rahimah Sultan

The term blog originated from weblog and then weblog became just blog. A weblog is just that, a web log that is an online journal or diary kept by individuals. The term is also used as a verb that means to add information or posts. Since the mid-1990s blogging has become progressively easier with easy-to-use publishing tools and is now the predominant way of self-publishing.
Blogging has become an essential way to get your message out to others. You can incorporate text, pictures, links, short videos, or other media in your posts that make your content more appealing to readers.
There are many platforms for blogs that including WordPress.com, WordPress.org, Blogger, and Tumblr. There are pros and cons to consider when choosing a platform. You have to make an assessment and choose the one that best suits your needs for now and in the future.
WordPress.com is free but you do not technically own your blog, it can be suspended at any time, and .wordpress is in your domain name; while WordPress.org is free, you have control, and there are search engine-friendly options, but you must pay a host to support it.
WordPress.org requires you to have some basic understanding of how the web servers and the installation process works. Although you can set one up in under 5 minutes, WordPress.org requires some technical skills for uploading files to a web server using FTP (file transfer protocol) and such.
Blogging is a way to showcase your passion and expertise and a way to brand yourself and your products. It allows you to present your knowledge and skills to the public. A good post can be as short as 250 words.
If you have been thinking about blogging, now may be the time to start. Once you get your blog up and running and get a few followers your confidence will grow. Just take the first step.

by Rahimah Sultan

An autoresponder is an e-mail utility that automatically replies to an e-mail message with a prewritten response when that e-mail comes into a specific e-mail or Internet address. You can increase your sales with autoresponders, connect easily with people, and brand yourself.
Autoresponders are used by individuals and also by Web sites that need to respond to user comments automatically. Businesses use them to inform an email sender that someone is out of the office and the date of return; a company may use an autoresponder for newsletter subscription opt-ins or cancellations.

When someone responds to advertising you have mailed out online you have a series of responses set up that go out automatically. This starts to build a relationship between you and prospective clients or customers.
Autoresponders allow you to get your message and brand out to buyers and your community, encourage customer loyalty and repeat business, and retain and win back customers.

Article Marketing for Website Promotion
by Rahimah Sultan
Article marketing is the practice of posting keyword-focused articles on article sites that then syndicate your content. These sites have a large readership following, and that benefits you as a publisher. Once your article is accepted for publication it can be republished by others. Article marketing for website promotion can get you backlinks which bring people to your site.
For example, say you write an article about using social media as a tool to get people to purchase your product. Others who want to write about the same subject may link to your article and that is more exposure for you. Some article sites allow you to use HTML links in your articles while others let you include a link back to your site only in the resource box. Either way it is a one-way link back to your site. A one-way link is the best kind of link. When anyone uses your article they must name you as the author and keep any links in your article.
Do some keyword research before writing your article to give yourself the best opportunity to be found. Your keywords should be relevant to your article purpose or niche. Use your main keywords or keyword phrase in the title of your article and as the link to be clicked on in the resource box. Make sure your articles contain quality content and are well written and proofed so that you look professional. I hope these tips on Article Marketing for Website Promotion will help you get started with your article marketing.

Affiliate Marketing Mistakes
by Rahimah Sultan
Affiliate marketing is a great way for bloggers and other content creators to earn revenue; however, there are plenty of mistakes that can be made when first getting into this business.
New people tend to make affiliate marketing mistakes that can be avoided with a little know-how beforehand. Firstly, do not join too many programs. What you should do is select a few reputable networks and start small and focus on them until they start converting. It does not matter what the program is, success is determined more by the strategies used in affiliate marketing rather than the source.
You must invest in the proper resources, conduct tracking and know what your competitors are up to, while not copying them. It is also good to get advice from reputable companies.
Do not run too many campaigns simultaneously. Concentrate more on strategy and develop a broad knowledge of effective tactics before taking a shot in dark with several campaigns. Good publishers will pursue a strong working knowledge of industry tools prior to launching every campaign they are offered.
Not using SEO is another one of the affiliate marketing mistakes made by new comers. SEO is not dead, and it works because it simply connects consumers with the information they are looking for through the words or terms used to find it. Place ads and links exactly where a customer would go to find it.
Although you should not run too many campaigns at the same time, do not limit yourself to one category. There will always be spikes and lulls in sales and growth and diversification is necessary. Always remember that affiliates bring the consumers they reach back to the advertiser who is responsible for the actual sales transaction. Affiliates link consumers to products and services.

Quick Tips to Improve Your Email Marketing Subject Lines
by Rahimah Sultan
This is a discussion of a few quick tips to improve your email marketing subject lines. To start, keep your message straightforward and avoid splashy promotional phrases, all capital letters, or exclamation marks in your subject lines. Subject lines using questions can often perform better.
Be aware of your list quality and how often you email. When readers know what they are going to receive, they are more likely to open emails. Your list of engaged subscribers are more inclined to open and read them. If you start with a good list but send too often, open rates decline. I am listing only a few quick tips.
Your subject line should be no more than 50 characters long. Follow grammar rules.
Do not use false or misleading promises. You will be viewed as untrustworthy.
Make it clear how your readers will benefit from your email. Let them know about that SEO information.
Use questions to get your readers’ attention. “Is your blog in need of content?”
Use numbers in your subject line. “Are you making these 5 blogging mistakes?”
Hopefully these quick tips to improve your email marketing subject lines will help with your open rates.
